Regulation & Compliance Office
The Regulation and Compliance Office is a specialist risk management, compliance, and consultancy business that provides support to all types of regulated businesses in the professional services and financial sectors in England, Scotland and Wales.
This website is dedicated to Law Firms and the Products and Services we provide for Law firms and Sole Practitioners to meet the expectations of the Solicitors Regulation Authority, Counsel for Licensed Conveyancers, and the Law Society of Scotland.
Our focus...
… providing Law Firms Managers and Owners with the comfort of knowing their firm is compliant, eliviating the stress of keeping up with the demanding and ever-changing world of compliance.
Our main goal...
… to seamlessly integrate into the Law Firms we work for, providing proportionate, high-quality, pragmatic and effective solutions.
How We Work
We can work on a completely outsourced basis or alongside an internal risk and compliance team, providing additional resources, support, and expertise.
We believe that the correct approach to regulation and compliance is to ensure that each Law Firm we work for is compliant and, as a result, gives no cause for the Regulator to be concerned. We recognise that mistakes happen, but the most effective form of defence is to demonstrate a compliant approach and a business that has taken all appropriate measures to prevent or quickly respond to any breach.

Compliance Services
Our Compliance Services include a range of tailored packaged products for Law Firms through to specific task-led services based on the exact needs of the client.
- Our packaged products provide a cost-effective solution that covers the essential requirements of each business and its regulator. Whilst there are always going to be elements that demand a consistent requirement for each regulated entity, a business is able to adapt its approach. We will always adapt and amend our services to ensure the bespoke needs of each client are met. We do not seek to change any business (unless they are non-compliant) but seek to implement workable solutions that support and do not control the business.
- Our task-led services will be tailored to our clients’ exact needs. We will understand their specific requirements and build a bespoke programme, either for one-off tasks or as part of an ongoing relationship, that does not fit one of our pre-existing packaged products.
For more information on each of our services, please visit the services pages of this website.
